The Pilot’s risotto

The Pilot’s risotto is the dish that Eleonora de Marchi created in occasion of the week dedicated to the artisans of Lombardy and which she will present at the Village.

The Pilot’s risotto is a dish that will talk about the territory and its thousand year old history. Eleonora’s objective was to combine the main ingredients of the Mantova tradition that are respectful of the environment and humans, and that were a safe and secure product from a local production.

A dish that hopes to be a gift to the territory and its traditions, but also to the people who have written its history: this is how the name the Pilot’s risotto came about, it was inspired by the “greatest pilot of the past, the present and the future” and that is Tazio Nuvolari symbol of speed, fury, and courage which turned him into a celebrity in the beginning of the 20’s until 1950.
This risotto is a creation that strongly represents the colors of Mantova, of the scents of a territory that tells the million-year-old tradition of the Mantova kitchen.
